We use OSI (Ohio Sealant Incorporated) Polyurethane Construction Adhesive. Mike Harrelson, Project Manager, is very familiar with OSI products having used their sealants and caulks for 12 of the last 25 years he has been in this business.
This adhesive is a glue and caulk providing long-term structural durability as well as sealing gaps for energy efficiency.

Earth friendly product? After 72 hours, the glue is cured and no more off-gassing occurs. The adhesive does the task right the first time and lasts longer doing the job correctly, so therefore less energy is used by not having to re-caulk or re-do a job every year or two. However, fully expect your framer to charge more to use this product - it has a firm hold and if it gets on the skin and isn't immediately wiped off, it will take about 3 days to wear off. Tools, clothing, air hoses, etc we suggest wiping off immediately upon contact or it will not come off.
